Booking & Deposits
A trip is confirmed once we receive a signed itinerary agreement and the required deposit, typically 30% of the total trip cost. Gorilla and golden monkey permits must be paid in full at the time of booking, as the Rwanda Development Board requires full payment to secure and issue permits.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation terms vary by how far in advance you cancel and which suppliers are involved. As a general guide: deposits are non-refundable within 60 days of travel; permit fees are non-refundable once purchased, in line with Rwanda Development Board policy; lodge cancellation terms follow each property's individual policy, which we disclose at time of booking.
Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance, including emergency medical evacuation cover, is required for all guests travelling with Inka Tours. Proof of coverage may be requested before departure.
Permits & Park Regulations
Gorilla trekking, golden monkey trekking and national park visits are subject to Rwanda Development Board regulations, which can change without notice. We will inform you promptly of any regulation change affecting your itinerary.
